Fire Station #3 2.28.2019

A few words that describe the brave men who serve at Sylvania Fire Station #3 are dedicated, passionate, committed and loyal - both to their jobs and each other. It was truly our honor to meet three amazing men who selflessly put their lives on the line each day:  Lt. Rod, Terry and Justin.These men are just one third of the outstanding crew who serve at Station #3.

Garden Toledo had the privilege to look behind the mask, so to speak, to meet the men underneath all that fire gear. What did we find? We found men who are husbands, fathers, grandfathers, sons and brothers, just like you and I. They don’t do what they do because they seek glory or fame. They do it because they love their city, and they love their jobs. It is because of this character of who they are that they can do what they do, day after day. We are privileged to have men such as this protecting and watching over our city, and it is our great honor to say thank you for all you do and for who you are. Together, we make Toledo a better place!
