11.07.2017 Garden Toledo Research Report
|
The world looks much different now than it did fifty years ago and so do our children. As a city and as a country, we may be too busy with our own lives and problems to realize that our children are living dramatically different lives than we did. They face challenges that are difficult for us to comprehend. Current appraisals of the health of this young generation can often be limited in scope, be tainted by politics and funding, or simply get lost in a sea of information. The research below is part of an effort by Garden Toledo to paint a broader, fuller and more realistic picture of the state of our children’s health and well-being today. Three specific areas we’d like to cover include a child’s physical health, mental health and their conscience.
