​Firefighters night 12.12.2017

Tonight, we learned about the value, need and importance of teamwork. Then we discussed the many practical ways teamwork is applied in our daily living, such as how firefighters, police officers and medical personnel use teamwork every day. Next, we had a hands on demonstration of how inefficient we are when we try to do things on our own, when some matters truly require a team effort. The children were challenged to lift heavy objects with using the strength of one finger. Obviously, this showed their failure. But when done together in harmony and unity, great things can be overcome with just a little effort. Finally, we ended the evening showing videos of how firefighters use this teamwork to make a difference in people's lives on a daily basis. We would like to thank our local firefighters for their courage, and we are burdened to write them a letter of appreciation.
